Gallery Partition Wall
I hired John to hang, mud and paint the drywall for my partition gallery wall. From the start he was a pleasure to work with. He gets the job done with quality and efficiency. A+

John came over to my apt and helped me change out very rusted wheels in my very heavy floor to ceiling sliding glass doors of my enclosed lanai. It was a much bigger job that it looked and required modifying the steel replacement parts i had purchased to make them fit right and cutting out the old wheels that were rusted in place. John had all the tools we needed and we got the job done. Lanai doors now slide great and we couldn't be more happy. John has a great attitude and works very hard. Good rate and worth every penny. I would definitely recommend John to anyone needing help with repairs big or small.

ABC Handyman Hawaii - awesome service!!! We needed a portion of our bamboo flooring replaced. This required tedious and detailed work, but the floor came out beautiful. Love it! Thank you very much John!

Was able to relocate dryer vent so that our dryer now sits flush against the wall and the closet doors can close. We had additional questions and another small project and he was able to help us, no problem. Great job!

Great job
Had a chewed up door frame from an eager young puppy and needed a quick fix....John was very helpful and spent the day making sure it was done right, the job came out great. As a bonus I was having trouble getting my closet back on the track and john helped me when it wasn't even part of his job I requested. My security deposit is now safe, great job!!!

Scaling the Heights
I had John come over to put in over 100 vent covers along my roof line. Most of the job entailed heights of over 20 feet as well as a few tricky places but John was able to get it all done quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price. This was my first time using John but plan to use him again for some other jobs. BTW- John was recommended to me by a friend, who also spoke highly of his work.

Excellent Service
John is or go-to-guy for our handyman needs. He had done quite a bit of work in our home including installation of ceiling fans in every run in our house to installing recessed lighting throughout the downstairs. We have been using his services for a year, and we have never had to call him back to fix any issues related to his work. Everything is always done right the first time. His work ethic and attention to detail along with his affordable prices make ABC Handyman our first call.

John is simply fabulous. There...
John is simply fabulous. There is nothing he cannot fix. His price is reasonable $150 to fix a Viking 1 HP garbage disposer. John was at my condo in Waikiki within 30 minutes. He took my entire garbage disposer apart. It was really tough to get it apart. I had tried all the things recommended on different YouTube websites but nothing worked. I still got the sad humming noise from a stuck-would-not-dislodge-garbage-disposer. Several tries later after taking apart the garbage disposer, John discovered a tiny metal circular fragment that resembled the head of a nail. I was looking at purchasing a brand new disposer high end at a cost of $300-$600. All the other repair people told me to get a new disposer. This one is perfect and so quiet and it fits under my sink. Now thanks to John it works fabulously. John from ABC Handyman stays until something is fixed. He never gives up and he is extremely neat. I recently had a PureWash non soap sterilizer installed to my bosch washer machine. John installed a new electric hook up. He installed stainless steel hoses and my PureWash works beautifully. The clothes are clean, clean smelling and the water bubbles or oxygenates. ABC handyman is great for all services.

I was spending all day looking for an AC Contractor that would do an installation into a jalousie for my bedroom. As many of you know, a lot of older homes in Hawaii have window jalousies, which are the absolute worst for window AC installs and insulation. I called up a bunch of AC contractors thinking they'd be willing to do a short 1 hour job for a good chunk of money, but most of them denied me or never returned my call. I later learned it's handymen that do these types of jobs, so I looked one up here on Angie's List and saw this handyman with great reviews. I called John and he promptly picked up my call. I explained my situation to him with the jalousie windows and AC and he confidently expressed that he would be able to install it without any problems. I called him late in the afternoon after business hours on a FRIDAY and he willingly squeezed me in on Saturday for an installation in a time slot between 3 - 4 PM. John arrived promptly and quickly went to work on my setup. He expressed confidence that he would have no problems installing the AC, took the necessary measurements and got to work getting the right materials for the install. He had lots of interesting stories to tell and was both very professional and friendly to talk to. He answered all my questions about the install and even answered some questions about some other issues I was having in my house. He finished in less than an hour and a half without any issues. I'm now chilling out with a great AC all thanks to John. If I need any other work done I'll definitely give him a ring again!

John removed four, old ceiling fans and installed four, new fans for us. Member Comments: John was able to squeeze us in the very same day we called. He quoted us a price a little higher than other quotes we had received, however, the other company we had thought about using would not be able to come and install our fans for over a week. In the summer heat of Ewa Beach, a little bit of a higher price is well worth the ability to have working ceiling fans in our home much sooner than we had anticipated. John was punctual, professional, friendly and courteous. He did a FAN-tastic job installing our ceiling fans. We are very grateful for his quick service! THANK YOU, JOHN!! We will definitely call ABC Handyman Hawaii for our future handyman needs.

These guys provide EXCELLENT customer service. Stationed on the mainland, it's been a challenge finding dependable resources to do work on my rental property in Waikiki. John has been great at returning phone calls and following through with everything as promised. He was able to provide a quote within a day of my first call to him and completed all work within the estimated turnaround time (which was less than I was expecting). The peace of mind provided by John and crew has really been great. I just can't stress how much their customer service has exceeded my expectations. Others in Hawaii can definitely learn something from these guys.. I highly recommend them!!!
